We are excited to announce that details for the 2026 IDTANA scholarship program are now available at https://idtana.org/scholarships/. The IDTANA is proud to sponsor several scholarships for high school seniors and current college students. Scholarship program applicants submit an application including demographic information, transcript, test scores, essay, and resume. Applications for the 2026 program will open here on IDTANA.org on October 15, 2025, and run through January 15, 2026.

For 2025, scholarships will be awarded to two different groups of applicants:

• High school seniors graduating in 2026.
• College/university students enrolled in a two or four-year undergraduate program who will still be enrolled full-time during the 2026-2027 academic year.

There is a detailed online process for submitting applications for consideration. In order to submit an application, applicants must:

• be an active dancer at a school run by a teacher currently registered with the IDTANA & CLRG
• meet minimum academic criteria in their academic transcripts,
• submit an official application form, and
• provide required transcripts, other academic information, essays, and all required documentation/paperwork by a stated deadline.

All applications receive an in-depth review and evaluation. A percentage of the applications are then advanced to a semi-final level. A rigorous review process determines which of the semi-final applicants are then awarded scholarships. Scholarship winners are officially announced and presented to the public one night before the awards ceremony at the North American Championships. They are also publicized on the IDTANA website and in other media.
